Johnny Gaffney, Jacksonville City Councilman (L), and James Citrano, Jaxport’s board chairman, look on as Alix Celestin, Haitian director general signs MOU.Roy Schleicher, Jacksonville Port Authority’s CEO, and Alix Celestin, director general of Autorite Portuair Nationale (National Port Authority), which oversees 11 public ports in Haiti, have signed a memorandum of understanding, which allows for the sharing of best practices and technical information relating to port marketing, security and operations.
Johnny Gaffney, Florida’s Jacksonville City Councilman, and Jacksonville Port Authority officials, including James Citrano, chairman of the board of directors, and Reginald Gaffney, board member, were in attendance.
