The Georgia Ports Authority today named George H. Hearn senior director of trade development for carrier and non-container sales.
Hearn will guide all client development and functions for carrier and non-container sales, including planning, administration, tariff structure and more. He will report to Cliff Pyron, chief commercial officer.
Hearn has worked on the carrier side of the industry for nearly three decades, said Curtis Foltz, GPA executive director.
Hearn most recently served as vice president of sales for U.S. Lines’ eastern and Gulf regions. He also held senior positions at American President Lines and Orient Overseas Container Line.
