Yantian International Container Terminals today handled its 100 millionth 20-foot-equivalent unit, a record achieved in less than 19 years.
A celebration ceremony was held today to mark the achievement. About 200 guests were in attendance, including representatives from various departments of the Shenzhen municipality, the Yantian district government, various port authorities, Hutchison Port Holdings, Yantian Port Group, Hutchison Port Holdings Trust and YICT, as well as shipping lines and cargo owners.
