Liebherr Supplies RTGs to Terminals in Four Countries

Liebherr Container Cranes Ltd. recently delivered rubber-tire gantry cranes to terminals in Egypt, Ireland, Poland and Russia.

DP World Sokhna in Egypt received a second delivery of six 1-over-5 RTGs, increasing the terminal’s total number of Liebherr RTGs to 11.

The Port of Cork in Ireland has installed a cable reeling drum electric crane at its Ringaskiddy facility.

DCT Gdansk in Poland received a delivery of three RTGs. The terminal already had a number of other Liebherr cranes in operation.

OJSC Petrolesport in St. Petersburg, Russia, received six RTGs, with five more due later this year.

Liebherr expects 2012 deliveries will exceed last year’s figures, according to managing director Pat O’Leary.
