Mika Vehvilainen, Cargotec's new president and CEO.Finnish cargo handling equipment manufacturer Cargotec’s board of directors has appointed Mika Vehvilainen as president and CEO, effective March 1.
Tapio Hakakari, Cargotec’s vice chairman of the board, will continue as the interim president and CEO until Feb. 28.
Vehvilainen is currently the president and CEO of Finnair. He has previously held senior-level positions at Nokia Siemens Networks and Nokia, and has worked in logistics and service development duties in the U.S. and Asia.
