Global port operator International Container Terminal Services has appointed Christian R. Gonzalez as acting head of Asian operations.
Effective Aug. 15, Gonzalez will manage his new responsibilities concurrently with his roles as vice president and general manager of Manila International Container Terminal.
Edgardo Q. Abesamis will retire from his position as executive vice president at Philippines-based ICTSI on Aug. 15, but will maintain his chairmanships and directorships of several subsidiaries in a non-executive capacity.
Abesamis has worked for ICTSI for 24 years and has held the position of executive vice president since 1995, playing a key role in ICTSI’s success at its Philippine and other Asian terminals.
