China’s Sri Lankan port city is back in play

Beijing’s bid to increase its strategic foothold in Sri Lanka was back on track after the island nation’s cabinet said a $1.5 billion port city would go ahead, dismissing a threat to scrap the deal signed with China by the previous government.
