Thomas Bradshaw has been named executive director of the North Carolina State Ports Authority in addition to his current position as state logistics director.
Bradshaw is a former mayor of Raleigh and state secretary of transportation, and was an investment banker with First Boston, Smith Barney and Citigroup serving the transportation sector.
Jeff Strader was named deputy executive director and will continue as CFO. Strader had served as interim port director since the departure of Thomas Eagar eight months ago.
The North Carolina State Ports Authority oversees the ports of Wilmington and Morehead City.
