Phoenix International Announces Management Appointments

Wood Dale, Illinois – April 29, 2011 – Phoenix International Freight Services, Limited is pleased to announce the following recent USA appointments and promotions.

Thomas T. Petersen, regional vice president – Petersen has 25 years of industry experience and will be responsible for further developing the company’s U.S. East Coast offices while managing the Miami, Florida office.

Ben Lacina, general manager of the Carolinas – Lacina joined Phoenix’s Denver, Colorado sales team in 2007 after four years in the industry, and will transfer to the company’s Charlotte, North Carolina office in May.

Allison Buonavolanto, Houston general manager – Buonavolanto joined Phoenix’s global account team based in Chicago, Illinois in 2002 with 11 years of industry experience, and recently transferred to Texas to lead the company’s Houston team.

Sean Fay, general manager of St. Louis and Springfield, Missouri offices - Fay joined Phoenix in 2007 as the St. Louis branch sales manager with 14 years of industry experience, and is focusing efforts on continuing his teams’ successes.

Rayden Roberts, deputy director of Information Systems – Roberts joined the company five years ago as a senior programmer/analyst, and will work with the company’s Chicago and Asia-based development teams to coordinate the development, implementation and management of software solutions.

David Hertigan, Boston general manager - Hertigan recently joined the company’s Boston, Massachusetts team with 18 years of industry experience in sales, station and regional management.

Nicole Organ, general manager of Kansas City and Omaha offices - Organ has 21 years of industry experience with 17 of them at Phoenix, and most recently served as office manager and account manager for the company’s Kansas City, Missouri and Omaha, Nebraska offices.
