The American Commercial Lines, Jeffersonville, Ind., hired Bill Braman as the company''s vice president and general manager of transportation services. Braman a transportation industry veteran, most recently held the position of division manager for CSX Transportation.

The Port of Stockton, Stockton, Calif., elected attorney Gray Christopherson as chairman of the Stockton Port District Board of Port Commissioners. Christopherson was appointed to the commission in 1999, and is a partner in the Stockton law firm of Kroloff, Belcher, Smart, Perry & Christopherson.

J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Lowell, Ark., named telecommunications industry executive Sharilyn Gasaway to its board of directors. Gasaway, 40, was most recently executive vice president and chief financial officer of Alltel, a Little Rock, Ark.-based wireless carrier acquired by Verizon Communications.

NAI Global, Princeton, N.J., hired industry veteran Paul Waters as the company''s executive vice president of brokerage for the Americas region. Waters has more than 20 years of extensive experience in the commercial real estate industry. Prior to joining the company he served as senior managing director of CB Richard Ellis'' North American industrial services. Before that he held senior positions with The Staubach Company and United Systems Integrators, southwest operations.

Watco Companies, Pittsburg, Kansas, announced several organizational changes. Allan Roach was appointed senior vice president of business development. Kirk Hawley was promoted to senior vice president of marketing, sales and service assurance. He joined the company in 1991 as the marketing manager. Additionally, other changes include: Shasta Stump as vice president of sales and marketing for the Grand Elk Railroad; Pat Cedeno as vice president of sales and marketing for the Central region; Amy Parady as vice president of sales and marketing for the Gulf region; Becky Fearmonti as senior marketing manager for the South Kansas and Oklahoma Railroad; and Ron Spencer as manager of customer service.

British Airways World Cargo announced two changes to its leadership team. Adam Carson, formerly senior manager of revenue management, was appointed head of business development, replacing Ed Searancke, who has left the company. Gareth Sinclair became head of revenue management, and joined its leadership team. Sinclair previously served as network optimization manager.
