Tyden Group Acquires E. J. Brooks

Security companies to reorganize services into three units

Tyden Group Holdings, a provider of security solutions and product identification technology for transportation companies and global supply chains, acquired E.J. Brooks Company, a provider of security seals and metering related products to the transportation, retail, money handling, chemical, pharmaceutical, healthcare and utility industries.

Tyden Group said it plans to reorganize the combined products and services of the two companies into three business units.

The Tyden Brooks Security Products Group will combine the two global security seal companies, formerly TydenBrammall and E.J. Brooks, with headquarters in Livingston, N.J.

The Tyden Brooks Utility Products Group will consist of the UPG division, which supplies metering-related products such as meter adapters, test switches, meter sockets and seals sold to utilities. It will continue to operate as a stand alone business with its headquarters in Farmington Hills, Mich.

Telesis Technologies, which provides laser and mechanical direct part marketing systems for product identification and traceability applications, will continue to operate as a stand alone business with its headquarters in Circleville, Ohio.
