FreightScan, a logistics technology provider, promoted Patrick Klacka from senior software engineer to a new position as the director of system engineering for the company.
In his new role, Klacka will develop and maintain processes and training for all FreightScan products, including system architecture, development, testing and maintenance.
Klacka earned a BS in computer engineering from the University of California at San Diego. Prior to joining FreightScan, he spent three years with General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, where he was the lead developer for the payloads and weapons software for the Army Sky Warrior Program. He also previously worked with Trex Enterprises Corporation, which provides technical solutions and products, where he worked on laser tracking and laser communication devices for the company.
“Patrick has been a great addition to our team since he joined FreightScan, and we are pleased to promote him to this important new role overseeing our systems engineering,” said André Johnson, CEO for FreightScan.
