Video: Yeros on Short Sea Venture

Next month the Denver-based Broe Group. will launch Eco Transport, its first short sea shipping venture. The tug-barge service will operate between the port of Oakland and Stockton, Calif. Alex Yeros, managing director, said the service will provide customers in California's Central Valley a green and cost-effective alternative to truck transport from the port. Broe is also one of the country's largest short line railroad operators.
