New Breed Logistics to Provide End-to-end Supply Chain Management of Boeing Commercial Aircraft Fasteners

HIGH POINT, N.C., Nov. 21, 2011 -- /PRNewswire/ -- New Breed Logistics, Inc., headquartered in High Point, North Carolina, has announced that they have been selected by The Boeing Company to provide logistics and supply chain management of commercial aircraft fasteners in support of the Boeing Aggregated Standards Network (BASN) program. This agreement represents continued growth of the relationship between New Breed and The Boeing Company.

The program includes planning, ordering, storage, and distribution of fasteners for up to 300 Boeing suppliers and 20 Boeing fastener manufacturers. Services New Breed will provide include forecast aggregation for fasteners, capacity planning, supply base management, inbound transportation management, product storage, order processing, and coordination of outbound transportation.

In 2010, Boeing established a second 787 final assembly operation in North Charleston, South Carolina, and again selected New Breed to operate the support facility.

Additionally, New Breed supports several other Boeing commercial and defense aviation programs.
