Zim to Upgrade Gulf to South America Service

Weekly fixed-day SAX service to add two vessels, new port rotation

Zim American Integrated Shipping Services said it will upgrade its weekly fixed-day SAX service this month from the U.S. Gulf to the East Coast of South America.

It plans to increase the number of vessels to seven from five in its existing service.

The new weekly port rotation is: Kingston, Tampa, Mobile, Houston, Kingston, Victoria, Rio Grande, Itajai, Santos, Pecem (every other week), La Guaira, Puerto Cabello and back to Kingston.

The upgraded SAX service will start from Kingston on Nov 23 with the departure of the Clou Island.
