The “CCS” is the anti-commercial crime arm of the International Chamber of Commerce. Its Web site includes the International Maritime Bureau’s Piracy Reporting Center, with piracy alerts, a live piracy report and a live piracy map showing the location of pirate attacks. IMO is implementing a long-term anti-piracy project that began in 1998. The U.N. organization’s aim has been to foster the development of regional agreements on implementation of counter piracy measures, such as ReCAAP in Asia. Its maritime security pages contain a variety of links to security circulars, press releases and reports.
