Maersk Shifts Euromed Service

Line drops call in Morocco, picks up calls in Spain, Egypt

Maersk Line changed the port rotation of its weekly Euromed Service that covers the trade between Europe and the Mediterranean.

The carrier has dropped the existing call at Tangier, Morocco, and instead, added calls at Algeciras, Spain, as well as Port Said, Egypt.

The revised rotation is Ashdod, Valencia, Felixstowe, Rotterdam, Bremerhaven, Algeciras, Gioia Tauro, Alexandria, Port Said, and back to Ashdod.

The first vessel in the new schedule is the Maersk Bintan that sailed from Algeciras on March 8, the Danish carrier said in an announcement.
