Evergreen, COSCON to Launch China Service

Lines hope to upgrade service with more efficient use of capacity

Evergreen Line and Cosco Container Lines will launch a joint service from Shanghai, China on July 26.

The China South East Asia Express Service (CSE) will operate with four 2,100-TEU vessels. Evergreen will deploy one vessel and COSCON will supply three ships.

The port rotation is Shanghai - Dalian - Xingang - Qingdao - Ningbo - Manila (south) - Jakarta - Singapore - Tanjung Pelepas - Port Kelang - Shanghai.

"By working together, we hope to see significantly upgraded service coverage and more efficiently utilized capacity on the South East Asia market,” said a company spokesman.
