Bay Area Trade Deficit Narrows

Exports in the first quarter through the San Francisco Bay Area's eight maritime ports grew 32 percent compared with the same period last year to $3.9 billion. Adding in air as well as ocean imports and exports, the region's trade deficit fell 6 percent to a two-year low of $5.6
