Africa’s 53 countries are typically grouped into five regions, according to the African Development Bank: North Africa: Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco and Tunisia. West Africa: Benin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Cote d’Ivoire, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Sao Tome & Principe, Senegal, Sierra Leone and Togo. Central Africa:
