Willis Adds Client Advocates to Expand Marine Practice

Willis North America, a subsidiary of insurance broker Willis Group Holdings, has appointed Jeremy Sykes and Francesca Sykes as client advocates of the Willis Marine Practice, Willis of Virginia.

Based in Norfolk, Va., they will report to HB Whitmore, managing partner of Willis of Virginia, and will be responsible for business development. They will also work to expand Willis’ footprint in the Virginia marketplace and align the company’s resources to deliver risk management services to firms in the marine industry.

Before joining Willis, Jeremy Sykes served as a senior underwriter with ProSight Specialty Insurance, a marine broker with Marsh USA, and Francesca Sykes served as marine subrogation claims specialist with Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty.
