WCI: Los Angeles-Shanghai Rates Drop 4 Percent

Backhaul trans-Pacific westbound rates from Los Angeles to Shanghai dipped 4 percent this week to $839 per 40-foot container, the largest single-week drop since July of last year, according to this week’s World Container Index numbers.
