The volume of containerized exports from South and Central America to North America in May climbed to its highest level since October 2011, according to data from Container Trades Statistics, Ltd. Latin American exports saw increases in almost all trade lanes, with the exception of a large decline to sub-Saharan Africa.

Exports from the Indian Subcontinent to Europe are moving closer in number to the amount of containers exported to current top trade partner Far East Asia, as the region continues to slip, according to data from Container Trades Statistics. Exports to all other reported regions were up this month.
