Three Lines Start Asia-Europe Sharing Agreement

Evergreen Line, China Shipping and CMA CGM will work together to launch an upgraded Asia-Europe AEX7 service.

The three carriers, which have never before cooperated on a vessel-sharing agreement in Asia-Europe trade lanes, said they will start the new service at the end of June to accommodate the need for greater capacity.

They will jointly deploy a total of nine vessels, each with capacities between 8,000 and 9,250 20-foot equivalent container units. China Shipping will provide six vessels, Evergreen two, and CMA CGM one.

The port rotation is: Shanghai, Ningbo, Shekou, Hong Kong, Yantian, Port Kelang, Le Havre, Rotterdam, Hamburg, Zeebrugge, Port Kelang and back to Shanghai.
