TOTE Services’ President Aguirre to Retire

Jorge Aguirre, president of ship management company TOTE Services, a division of Princeton, N.J.-based TOTE, will retire on Jan. 31, the company announced.

Aguirre joined TOTE Services in 1980 as a port captain at its Philadelphia headquarters. He served as manager of operations, then senior vice president and in 2001 was made president.

He is a member of the American Bureau of Shipping and the American Petroleum Institute, and sits on the board of the American Cargo Bureau, the Chamber of Shipping of America and is a trustee of the United Seamen’s Service.

Philip H. Green, TOTE’s vice president, will assume the role of president of TOTE Services.
