Sea Ocean International, a Jamaican shipping line, will launch a dedicated weekly container service between Miami and Kingston with its first departure from Miami on March 20, according to South Florida Caribbean News.
Sea Ocean International the first Jamaican owned and operated shipping service to sail from the United States to Jamaica.
The new service, which will have a three-day transit time to Kingston, will carry both dry and refrigerated containers.
The carrier provides an automated booking system, internet tracking for cargo containers and vessels, late cut off, cost competitive freight rates, experienced and professional staff and a local agent.
The management of Sea Ocean International consists of Winston Simmonds, president and CEO, and Alva Fearon, vice president and COO.
Between them, the two executives have more than 20 years of shipping industry experience.
