Econocaribe Provides EDI Track and Trace Online

Econocaribe Consolidators is introducing a new function on its website that enables shippers to track and trace full containerload shipments in real time through “track and trace EDI” (electronic data interchange) with many ocean steamship carriers.

The Miami-based non-vessel-owning common carrier said it is providing electronic FCL container status based on the key milestones provided by steamship lines electronically into its website tracking program.

Econocaribe said the site has direct EDI track and trace availability with Alianca, APL, CMA, Crowley, Hamburg Sud, Hanjin, Hapag Lloyd, “K” line, Maersk, MSC, MOL, Safmarine, Senator Line and Zim.
The following event milestones are captured and available online at Econocaribe.com: equipment dispatched (out-gated and in-gated); container loaded on vessel; vessel Departure; vessel arrival; container unloaded from vessel; container loaded on truck from terminal at destination; container out-gated at destination and empty container return to the terminal.
