DHL will expand direct less-than-containerload service from Shanghai to Seattle, reducing transit times for LCL shipments by up to four days, the company said.
The direct weekly LCL service, operated by Danmar Lines, will also call on the Port of Portland, Ore. Shipments from Shanghai will reach the U.S. within 12 days.
The introduction of the Shanghai to Seattle route follows DHL’s launch last month of a direct weekly LCL service linking New York and Durban, South Africa.
