Honda 1 Millionth U.S. Export From California Port

VENTURA, Calif. — On Tuesday, Dec. 11, Honda will host a brief event marking the export of its 1 millionth U.S. export from Port Hueneme in Ventura, Calif. An all-new 2013 Honda Accord will board the ship with hundreds of vehicles making a 6,000-mile journey to Seoul, South Korea.

The export milestone comes 25 years after the first U.S.-made Honda automobile, an Accord, was exported overseas. Media attending the event will have the opportunity to interview Honda leadership.
