U.S. Lines Announces Australasia Bunker Surcharge

U.S. Lines will implement a bunker surcharge for northbound dry and refrigerated cargo from Australia and New Zealand to the U.S. East Coast, eastern Canada and the Caribbean, effective Feb. 15.

The charge will be $983 per 20-foot container.

The reefer consumption surcharge will remain at 15 percent of the bunker adjustment factor.
