Sinotrans

Sinotrans Group is a logistics company whose subsidiaries provide a wide range of transportation services, including sea, air and road transportation; storage and terminal services; express services; shipping agency and freight forwarding. Among other things, the company operates a fleet of 33 container ships with a combined capacity of 47,510 TEUs as of Aug. 15, 2014, according to Alphaliner, making it the 32nd-largest container carrier in the world by fleet size.

Hong Kong-based Sinotrans Shipping is the group’s main shipping subsidiary, with operations in container shipping, shipping management, dry bulk shipping, tankers and roll-on, roll-off.

Sinotrans Shipping's experience in the intra-Asia trade in the first half seems to have been less turbulent than other container lines with a focus on the region.
