OOCL has launched a new intra-Asia service linking Taiwan and China to Japan.
The KTX5 will be operated by the Hong Kong-based line using two 1,500-TEU container ships.
“The KTX5 provides a comprehensive supplement to our service network in the KTX Suite by covering Taiwan, Hong Kong, Xiamen and Japan,” the line said in a statement.
The service will have the following rotation: Kaohsiung, Hong Kong, Xiamen, Tokyo, Yokohama, Nagoya and back to Kaohsiung.
