Hapag-Lloyd has increased rates for all cargoes and container types in its Indian subcontinent to Southeast and Northeast Asia trade, effective March 1. The rate hike will be $50 per 20-foot-equivalent unit.
The German ocean carrier has also increased rates for all cargoes and container types from East Asia, excluding Japan, to the Indian subcontinent, beginning March 15. The hike will be $500 per TEU.
