Hapag-Lloyd will add a seventh vessel to its weekly Asia-Mexico Express Service Loop 1 (AME1), starting in early December.
“The additional vessel will be helping us to improve the schedule performance of the service and will also help us increase the service coverage by adding a direct call in Qingdao, China,” the German carrier said.
The new AME1 port rotation will be as follows: Ningbo, Shanghai, Qingdao, Busan, Yokohama, Ensenada, Manzanillo, Lazaro Cardenas, Ensenada, Yokohama and Ningbo.
The service improvements will take effect with the departure of the vessel Rio de Janeiro Express from Shanghai on Dec. 3.
