Hapag-Lloyd to Boost Intra-Asia Rates in Mid-April

Hapag-Lloyd will increase rates on its trade from East Asia, excluding Japan, to the Indian subcontinent, by $200 per 20-foot-equivalent unit, starting April 15.

Additionally, because of the improved water level of the St. Lawrence River, the carrier will terminate its low water additional fee on cargo moving via the Port of Montreal to and from North Europe, the Mediterranean, Africa, East Asia, the Indian subcontinent and the Middle East, effective April 1.
