Hamburg Süd will increase rates on all cargo on its trade from the west coast ports of the U.S. and Canada to the Mediterranean, effective April 1.
The hike will be $150 per 20-foot container and $200 per 40-foot container.
The German container carrier previously announced a hike in rates for westbound cargo from the Mediterranean to Mexico and the U.S. Gulf Coast, also effective April 1.
