Emirates Shipping Line has announced general rate increases, effective Jan. 15.
From the Far East and Southeast Asia to the Middle East, rates will increase by $300 per 20-foot-equivalent unit, and from the Far East and Southeast Asia to the Indian subcontinent, rates will rise by $150 per TEU.
The container line previously hiked rates for the same trade lanes in November.
