CSAV is reconfiguring its two services from Asia to Mexico and West Coast of South America and Central America, the Andex Services Sling 1 and Sling 2.
The Chilean carrier will operate Andex Sling 1 between Asia, Mexico and the West Coast South America (Chile and Peru) with 11 ships with capacities of 8,500 20-foot equivalent containers units each.
Andex Sling 1 will have the following 77-day port rotation: Chiwan, Hong Kong, Ningbo, Shanghai, Pusan, Yokohama, Manzanillo, Balboa, Callao, Iquique, San Antonio, San Vicente, San Antonio, Callao, Balboa, Manzanillo, Shanghai, Keelung and back to Chiwan. The reconfigured sling will adds a new direct call at Yokohama on the eastbound leg as well as direct calls at Balboa on both the eastbound and westbound legs.
The first sailing of this newly configured Sling 1 will be provided by the CMA CGM Nabucco, which departs from Chiwan on Oct. 18. CSAV will operate its Andex Sling 2 service between Asia, Mexico, Central America via Mexico, and Colombia and Ecuador via Balboa with 10 6,500-TEU ships.
Andex Sling 2 will have the following 70-day port rotation: Xingang, Qingdao, Pusan, Shanghai, Ningbo, Xiamen, Hong Kong, Chiwan, Pusan, Manzanillo, Lazaro Cardenas, Balboa, Buenaventura, Lazaro Cardenas, Manzanillo, Yokohama and back to Xingang.
It will use Lazaro Cardenas as its new transshipment port for Puerto Quetzal, Acajutla, Corinto, Puerto Caldera. The sling includes a direct call at Balboa on its eastbound leg. The first sailing with this new configuration will be the departure of the CSAV Puelo from Xingang on Oct. 21.
