Florida-based marine salvage and wreck removal company TITAN Salvage, a Crowley company, has established a new office and equipment depot in Cairns, Australia, to respond to marine and environmental disasters threatening the Great Barrier Reef and other emergencies throughout the Australasia and South West Pacific regions, the company said in a written statement today.
The new 20,000-square-foot depot will be operated by new subsidiary TITAN Maritime and will house a variety of emergency response equipment.
In its new location, the TITAN team will work with the Australian Maritime Safety Authority and salvage partner Ian Perrott, of Perrott Salvage.
