COSCO Container Lines Americas Appoints Peter R. Vigil AVP for Export Sales

Secaucus, NJ (August 19, 2013) – Mr. Timothy Marsh, Executive Vice President, Trade, of COSCO Container Lines Americas, Inc. (CCLA) has announced the appointment of Peter R. Vigil to the position of Assistant Vice President for Export Sales. CCLA is one of the world’s premier ocean carriers, calling on ports around the globe and offering a comprehensive set of ocean and intermodal services.

In his new position Mr. Vigil will have responsibility for all Export Sales activity, both dry and reefer cargo, for the entire COSCO US Sales force. He brings to CCLA 23 years experience in Ocean Container Transportation, with previous roles in Global Sales, Key Client Management, Liner Management, and Sales Management for both dry and reefer cargo, in addition to Customer Service roles. He has worked throughout the US, in Seattle, San Francisco and Charlotte, as well as overseas with a post in Hong Kong. During his career Mr. Vigil spent sixteen years with the Maersk Line and seven years with K-Line America.
