CMA CGM is the world’s third-largest container shipping company, operating a fleet of 428 ships and serving more than 400 ports around the world.

The group, founded and led by Jacques R. Saadé, had turnover of $15.9 billion in 2013 on volume of 11.4 million TEUs (20-foot equivalent units).

CMA CGM is based in Marseilles but has a network of 650 agencies and branch offices in 150 countries. It employs more than 18,000 people globally.
