Agility Awarded Option on U.S. Army Contract

Logistics firm will continue to support supply line needs in Iraq and Kuwait

Agility Defense & Government Services has been awarded a one-year option on the U.S. Army’s Heavy Lift VI contract to supply heavy equipment transport and flatbed trailers to support the Army in Iraq and Kuwait.

Agility DGS will continue to provide transportation services for military personnel, supplies, and equipment through June 30, 2010. The value of the extension is estimated to be up to $91 million.

Agility DGS is the public sector arm of Middle Eastern logistics giant Agility. It provides supply chain management, logistics services and commodity services to defense and government customers from more than 550 offices in 120 countries.
