Joerg Zimmermann Named VP Area East Coast Sales By Hamburg SÜD
(Morristown, NJ – February 17, 2011)...Hamburg Süd announced today that effective March 1, 2011, Joerg Zimmermann will assumethe newly created post of Vice President, Area East Coast Sales, based at the firm’s North American main offices in Morristown, NJ.
Mr. Zimmermann joined Hamburg Süd in 1978 in Hamburg and has held positions of increasing responsibility since then in sales and sales management. In 1987 he was assigned to the San Francisco Sales Office. In 1991 he was named Assistant Vice President Marketing and assigned to the Morristown Office with subsequent assignments as Director, Market Research and Business Planning, and as Director, Business Information Management. In 2006, he was appointed Project Manager of Hamburg Süd’s GLOBE IT initiative, based in Hamburg.
