Ex-Im Bank Opens Detroit Office

The Export-Import Bank of the United States has opened its new regional export finance center at the U.S. Export Assistance Center in downtown Detroit.

The opening ceremony was attended by Fred P. Hochberg, Ex-Im Bank chairman and president; Sen. Debbie Stabenow, D-Mich.; Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder; Reps. John D. Dingell, D-Mich., and Gary Peters, D-Mich.; and Sandy Baruah, Detroit Regional Chamber president and CEO.

“This new office will help ensure that Detroit businesses have greater access to Ex-Im Bank products and services,” said Hochber, Ex-Im Bank chairman and president.
