Goteborg Energi, the municipality of Lidkoping and Swedish Biogas International have opened Lidkoping Biogas, Sweden’s first liquefied biogas facility, providing support for sustainable fuel for heavy transportation.
The opening ceremony was held at the biogas plant by Kia Andreasson, chairman of Goteborg Energi; Kjell Hedvall, mayor of Lidkoping, and Peter Unden, CEO of Swedish Biogas International.
In attendance were politicians and government officials, transportation and logistics industry leaders, and local and the biogas companies’ stakeholders and suppliers.
