Michigan DOT to Spend $187 Million on Road, Bridge Repair

The Michigan Department of Transportation has allocated about $187 million in contracts for 2013 to improve 80 miles of pavement and repair 15 bridges in the MDOT metro area, including Macomb, Oakland, St. Clair and Wayne counties.

The 2013 program will provide approximately $142 million for pavement repair and $45 million to upgrade bridges to good condition.
