The Australian government has unveiled the next phase of its $60 billion road and rail infrastructure investment program as part of its 2013-2014 budget, inviting private investment via public-private partnerships.

The Port of Hastings, Australia, will receive $110 million over the next four years from the Victoria government to expand container capacity and improve land-side transport connections, according to the state’s Premier Denis Napthine.
