Car and light truck manufacturer Renault is in the process of rolling out a cloud supply chain platform, Easy Tracker, developed by technology company GT Nexus, to help the Renault expand into international markets, while reducing inventory and costs, as part of its corporate initiative to focus on the spare parts and accessory business.
The platform will provide Renault with real-time tracking of customer orders and shipments, said Francesca Gamboni, Renault’s after sales logistics vice president.
The pilot was completed in the third quarter of 2012.
