Yusen Logistics (Americas) added management of its transportation division to the responsibilities of Michael Noone, the logistics company’s executive vice president and chief operating officer.
Noone takes over the division from John Lucas, senior vice president and general manager of transportation, who left the organization.
Yusen said the reorganization is part of the ongoing restructuring since the merging of two NYK Group companies in April 2011.
Noone is supported in his new position by Mike Liantonio, vice president operations; Alyse Lisk, vice president marketing an operations support; and Adriene Bailey, vice president yield management. Bailey, who joined Aug. 8, has experience in intermodal operations and procurement at Pacer International, CSX and Southern Pacific Railroad.
In addition to managing the branch network teams, the transportation division’s sales team will report to Mike Liantonio.
