South Africa’s Transnet is preparing for a possible strike of rail and port workers, Reuters reports.
The country’s transportation network has been disrupted by a walkout by truckers, and the state-owned rail network and port operator said it had received notice of a possible action in support of the truckers from SATAWU, the South African Transport and Allied Workers Union.
No date for the potential strike was given.
